Parent and Carer Update: 28th May

Dear Parents/Carers,

Please see update for Thursday 28th May below.

School Improvement 2020-21 Parent/Carers Survey

At this time of year the school reflects on what it has done well in the previous year and makes plans for further improvement in the coming year. This is then formulated into a school improvement plan. Given the current situation this year’s plan will be entitled a recovery and improvement plan. As you know, I want our parents and carers to be involved as much as possible in the life of our school and would therefore appreciate your views on this subject.

I have created another digital survey and a link to this will be shared securely via Learning Journals, as we did with the Digital Learning and Communication survey. Please remember that this new survey refers not only to the current situation but also to our learning and teaching earlier in the year and looks forward to the time when some form of normality returns to our learning and teaching.  I look forward to hearing from you.

The survey will remain open until Wednesday 3rd June 2020.

May Devotions – St Cuthbert’s RC Church and Our Lady, Mother of the Church

Fr Duffy has posted May Devotions on the St Cuthbert’s Catholic Church website as well as that of Our Lady’s Currie. The quality of both content and presentation is excellent and well worth viewing.

Thanks to those who took part in the online Mass to celebrate Ascension Day via the link posted yesterday. Fr Duffy passes on his best wishes to you all.

Kind regards

Pat Brack, Acting HT and all at St Cuthbert’s Primary.
