St Augustine’s have asked us to let parents know that they are continuing to add new content to their Transition Team. Pupils, including St Cuthbert’s pupils who are members of this Team, can ask questions using this facility.

Parents and carers can also ask questions about transition via the ‘contact us’ option on the P7 page of St Augustine’s website:

St Cuthbert’s Virtual Sports Day – Tuesday 9th June

As you know, Sports Day is usually one of the highlights of the school calendar. Due the current situation unfortunately we can’t hold an actual sports day. What we can do however is hold a virtual Sports Day. This will take place on Tuesday 9th June. Teachers will provide instructions to all pupils via Teams, there will be demo videos for each activity and points to be won for pupils’ Houses. Extra points can be earned by pupils – with parental permission – sharing photos/videos from the day on the school twitter account @stcuthbertsrcp  These points will be counted and the winning house will then be announced on Wednesday. We hope it is an enjoyable day for all.

St Cuthbert’s Nursery 2020-21 – Update on Pupil Placement Allocations

Due to the current situation, we are still awaiting an official opening date for St Cuthbert’s Nursery. If you have a nursery age child whom you wish to attend St Cuthbert’s nursery, you can send your application form to the Early Years inbox earlyyears@edinburgh.gov.uk . Provided you also select a second and third choice on the application form, City of Edinburgh Council will be able to allocate you an alternative placing until St Cuthbert’s Nursery is ready.
