Message from Families Magazine and Access to Digital Version
We usually bring paper copies of the magazine to your children’s schools but sadly that’s just not possible at the moment (or any time soon) but we still want to offer support and information to local families. This is our second “lockdown” issue and has heaps of ideas of education and entertainment : Please access the digital magazine via the link below:
Summer Reading Challenge – Message from City of Edinburgh Council Libraries
With the current disruptions caused by COVID-19 and the impact of social distancing on places of learning and public libraries, we at Edinburgh Libraries are unable to visit your classes in person before pupils break for the Summer holidays so the 2020 Summer Reading Challenge will launch for the first time ever this year as a free online activity.
Children can register for the Summer Reading Challenge here:
St Cuthbert’s Nursery 2020-21 – Update on Pupil Placement Allocations
Due to the current situation, we are still awaiting an official opening date for St Cuthbert’s Nursery. If you have a nursery age child whom you wish to attend St Cuthbert’s nursery, you can send your application form to the Early Years inbox firstname.lastname@example.org . Provided you also select a second and third choice on the application form, City of Edinburgh Council will be able to allocate you an alternative placing until St Cuthbert’s Nursery is ready.
