Our P5s made a splash in their final swimming lesson by learning vital water safety skills! They even wore pyjamas to experience how it feels to swim in clothes — a realistic and fun way to understand how to stay calm and safe if they ever fell into water. Brilliant effort from everyone! 👏
#UNCRC Article 6 – Every child has the right to life and to be kept safe.

In October, the month dedicated to Mary, our pupils painted rose stones to represent their prayers and intentions. They placed them in our Mary Garden and gathered to pray, showing love and gratitude through this creative act. The activity helped them reflect, express their faith, and feel part of our faith community, linking to UNCRC Article 14 – every child’s right to freedom of thought, belief, and religion.

P5 participated in Maths week with outdoor learning and a visit from Andrew our visiting IT specialist. P5 took their place value topic outside and enjoyed team games that consolidated their understanding of numbers up to 10,000. In their IT lesson Andrew taught the class how to create their own maths game on Keynote.
Our P5 pupils worked creatively to design and build Titanic interiors from shoeboxes, developing teamwork, problem-solving, and design skills. This hands-on project also supported their right to express themselves and share ideas (UNCRC Article 12).”
P5 enjoyed participating in a Drama Workshop this week. #article28
