On Wednesday P6 headed to Holyrood park to take part in the Outdoor Learning Challenge. We spent the morning at 3 different stations learning about various skills and topics. We all had the best time and can’t wait for our next trip!🤩

P6 have had a wonderful week of learning, our focus in topic has been on dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals. The class have written brilliant stories about being a dinosaur and have been working on their blending skills for an artwork piece on dinosaurs too. We have also been continuing learning about place value in maths!🤩

This week, P6 have been learning about place value in maths and narrative stories in writing. We also completed a fun STEM lesson, where groups worked together to try to make the longest paper chain using only one piece of paper. The P6s were also very excited to meet their P1 buddies and had a lovely time playing with their buddies outside. 

P6 have had a great first week back! We have been enjoying discussing and designing our class charter, writing letters, and starting off our new reading books🙌
