P6 have had a wonderful week of learning, our focus in topic has been on dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals. The class have written brilliant stories about being a dinosaur and have been working on their blending skills for an artwork piece on dinosaurs too. We have also been continuing learning about place value in maths!π€©

P3 have had an amazing week! They worked extremely hard on their place value numeracy work and experimented with base 10, IT and concrete materials to help themselves learn #Article28. They also learnt the colours of the rainbow in Spanish and worked hard to link this learning across the curriculum throughout the week #Article7
Due to their hard work, focus and determinate, P3 were announced as βclass of the weekβ and celebrated with toast, juice and music! Well done P3 βοΈ

P1 have been so busy! Take a look at our creative play this week:

We’ve also been busy at the teaching table! We’ve continued learning our sounds and practising our numbers. Well done P1!

P2 had a very exciting week revising their /ay/ /ai/ sounds and working with our P7 buddies. Take a look!

Primary 4 had a fantastic time taking part in outdoor learning! π³ We have been developing our writing skills by exploring interesting adjectives to describe how objects may look, sound, and feel. π€
Out in the playground, we went on a scavenger hunt π and discovered bursting, bright berries and plump, juicy pears. π These became the perfect inspiration for our descriptive writing!

Primary 4 have had another excellent week! π

We have completed our class charter. As a class we decided to focus on Article 3 (Best interests of the child), Article 12 (Respect for Childrenβs views) and Article 29 (Aims of Education). Each child created a weaved kilt to represent their agreement with our charter.
We think it looks fabulous!! ππ»
We have also been learning to spell words with the suffix βyβ. Who can name all of the vowels? π€
Well done P4! Keep up the hard work! βοΈ
