Primary 4 have really enjoyed learning about both Remembrance Day and Polish Independence Day this week. We explored why these special days are important and thought about the people who showed great courage and love for their countries.
We were also very lucky to have Sylvia visit our class to help us create beautiful stone roses for our Mary Garden. The children worked so carefully and thoughtfully on their designs. Later, we visited her statue in the garden, where we placed our roses as a sign of love and devotion. Together, we prayed the Hail Mary in both English and Latin, which was a very special and peaceful moment for everyone.

Our Primary 4 learners have been developing their skills in teamwork, collaboration and literacy this week! Their challenge was to work together using LEGO to design and build a home or habitat for a chosen character or animal. Once their creations were complete, each group wrote a descriptive sentence to share what they had built. It was wonderful to see everyone communicating, problem-solving and creating in harmony – true teamwork in action!
