P4 Diwali
Primary 4 had a very positive start back after the October break!
We were especially engaged in our learning about Diwali, a festival celebrated by many people around the world, including Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains. We enjoyed creating bright and colourful Diwali art, tasting some of the common foods eaten during the festival, and even watching a special performance!
Well done to our P4 performers — we loved it!

P3 learning this week!
P3 loved celebrating Diwali this week, we looked at the story of Rama and Sita, created rangoli patterns and enjoyed an amazing dance performance. Pupils also participated in a Diwali party where they got to try traditional snacks and treats. #Article14 – The right to freedom of thought and religion.
P3 finished the week by welcoming Mr Brack into the classroom during their writing lesson. Pupils were learning to use verbs and adjectives to describe a setting. Mr Brack and Miss Tulloch were so impressed with the hard work and focus shown resulting in P3 winning Class of the week! 🎉⭐️

This week was a busy week for P2. We celebrated Diwali by making rangoli, watching the beautiful Diwali performance and having a party. Check out some of our pictures!
This week we also learned the ew and oo sound. We used different resources to help us learn!
P2 received a visit from Sylvia and Selena where they taught us all about the rosary! We painted rocks and placed them in the Mary garden.
What a fantastic week it’s been full of learning!

✨ P5 enjoyed Celebrating Diwali with Colour, Creativity, and Culture ✨

Our class loved learning about the Festival of Lights! We made beautiful Diwali crafts, including colourful paper lamps to symbolise light triumphing over darkness. One of our pupils proudly represented us in the Diwali dance show, dressed in traditional clothing and performing brilliantly. What a wonderful way to celebrate diversity and share the joy of this special festival!
