Primary 7: Meeting Our Buddies

This weeks learning in P2
P2 had a very exciting week revising their /ay/ /ai/ sounds and working with our P7 buddies. Take a look!

Bursting, Bright Berries 🫐
Primary 4 had a fantastic time taking part in outdoor learning! 🌳 We have been developing our writing skills by exploring interesting adjectives to describe how objects may look, sound, and feel. 🤚
Out in the playground, we went on a scavenger hunt 👀 and discovered bursting, bright berries and plump, juicy pears. 🍐 These became the perfect inspiration for our descriptive writing!

Class Charter and using suffix ‘y’
Primary 4 have had another excellent week! 😊

We have completed our class charter. As a class we decided to focus on Article 3 (Best interests of the child), Article 12 (Respect for Children’s views) and Article 29 (Aims of Education). Each child created a weaved kilt to represent their agreement with our charter.
We think it looks fabulous!! 👍🏻
We have also been learning to spell words with the suffix ‘y’. Who can name all of the vowels? 🤔
Well done P4! Keep up the hard work! ✏️

P6 learning W/C 25th August 2025
This week, P6 have been learning about place value in maths and narrative stories in writing. We also completed a fun STEM lesson, where groups worked together to try to make the longest paper chain using only one piece of paper. The P6s were also very excited to meet their P1 buddies and had a lovely time playing with their buddies outside.

P3 this week!
P3 have been working hard at forming sentences using Capital letters, full stops and adjectives this week!
They have also enjoyed focusing on team skills in PE and learning their spelling words.
