P2 celebrate Diwali
This week was a busy week for P2. We celebrated Diwali by making rangoli, watching the beautiful Diwali performance and having a party. Check out some of our pictures!
This week we also learned the ew and oo sound. We used different resources to help us learn!
P2 received a visit from Sylvia and Selena where they taught us all about the rosary! We painted rocks and placed them in the Mary garden.
What a fantastic week itβs been full of learning!

β¨ P5 enjoyed Celebrating Diwali with Colour, Creativity, and Culture β¨

Our class loved learning about the Festival of Lights! We made beautiful Diwali crafts, including colourful paper lamps to symbolise light triumphing over darkness. One of our pupils proudly represented us in the Diwali dance show, dressed in traditional clothing and performing brilliantly. What a wonderful way to celebrate diversity and share the joy of this special festival!

Titanic Project
Our Primary 5 class have been busy creating shoebox models to show the different classes on board the Titanic. From the grand first-class cabins to the more modest third-class rooms, the children have learned about the contrasts in living conditions and the experiences of passengers on that historic journey.
Through this project, we explored themes of fairness and equality, linking our learning to UNCRC Article 2 β the right of every child to be treated fairly, no matter who they are. Just as passengers on the Titanic were treated differently depending on their class, we discussed how important it is that in todayβs world every child is valued equally and given the same rights and opportunities.
The children showed fantastic creativity, teamwork, and attention to detail β well done P5! π
