Primary 4 had a busy week! 🌟
We have had lots of fun participating in Maths Week Scotland activities! We particularly enjoyed using digital games to develop our arithmetic skills, including number bonds, organising and ordering numbers. We worked collaboratively to solve problems on the screen and support each other with our mathematical thinking. 🧮💻
We were also lucky to have an outdoor learning opportunity at the grounds of Astley Ainslie. We worked together to create castles using natural materials that we gathered from our surroundings. We challenged ourselves to create symmetrical structures inspired by medieval Scottish castles, making links to shape, symmetry, measurement and problem-solving in Maths! 🏰🍂
