In Numeracy, Primary 2 were celebrating Maths Week Scotland through Digital Learning and play. In addition to our SEAL strands and number bonds, we are learning about greater than, less than and equal to. All learners were really engaged and completed tasks with support and independently, some groups were even looking at three digit numbers!
In Literacy, we spotted an opportunity for some outdoor learning. We are learning about bossy verbs and how we need to use them for instructional writing! We played ‘Simon Says’ and ‘What’s the Time Mr Wolf?’ using bossy verbs before using them in our writing.
We are Health and Wellbeing Pupil Leadership Group! We love PE! This week we focused more on spatial awareness and communication in ball games such as Bum Ball and Hoop Ball!
Primary 2 have defeated Mr Crowley and Mrs Webb in the ‘Tidy Up Battle’! Our class reward will be a trip a nearby playpark. Letter and further information to come!
Thank you to those who have volunteered for our trip to the Churchill Theatre! We now have enough volunteers to make the trip safe and successful!
